Edit Fund Settings, Policies, and Options
- Click Chart of Accounts on the top menu bar.
- Click each fund that needs changes made to it; this will highlight the fund. Then, click Edit Selected. If you only need to make changes to one fund, you can double click it.
- Select the fund options and settings.
- Select the year end behavior that will be used.
- Select the Over Expending Options.
- If not set the system will use the global system policies.
- Enter the Default Cash Account you want to use for payments from the fund. This cash account will be used when paying PO’s, vouchers, disbursements, and entering cash receipts. It can be changed per entry.
- If the default cash account is not set the system selects THE FIRST CASH ACCOUNT in the fund.
- To issue checks from a checking account in another fund, check the Checks Issued from another funds Checking box.
- Enter the checking account number of the Other Fund or Interfund in the applicable space; click the question mark to select the account.
- When using this feature the cash account must also be set-up in account’s Advanced Options.
- If the default cash account is different for Receipts, enter that cash account number in the box labeled Default Receipts Cash.
- Click Save.
