New Escrow Project


  • Click Escrow then select Add Escrow Project.
  • Enter a Project Abbrev/Code and select a Type from the drop-down menu.
  • Enter the Developer or click the question mark to open the Lookup List.
  • To select a Developer, select Developers in the Quick Filter drop down menu or start typing the name or number of the developer in the Enter Text to search for box. The list will shrink to those matching what you type.
  • Enter the Project Description in the space provided.
  • Enter the percent of interest to be retained as an administrative fee.
  • Enter the Cash Account or click the  to open the Select Account dialog screen. When the Account selection dialog appears, you can use the filters to narrow the list.
  • Enter the revenue account to be used for the interest retained as administrative fee or use the Select Account screen to select the account as described above.
  • Enter the Block, Lot, and Qualifier for the property related to the project, if applicable.
  • Use the space provided to make notes.
  • Enter the Balance Account or click on Create New to set up a new balance account.
  • When creating the new balance account simply enter the new account number. The description will display the developer and project description.
  • The system will automatically create sub accounts for deposits, interest, and disbursements for the balance account.
  • Enter the Minimum Balance required for interest to be earned in the account.
  • Set the status of the project to Active then click Save.
