In some situations a historical number might need to be changed. This might be required for a variety of different reasons. For example, account numbers could have changed or a section was re-organized from year to year, and the system cannot retrieve the correct prior year historical numbers.
To override a a historical number right click on the value you want to change and select Edit Value:
Once a value is changed, it is unlinked from the historical data, and this value will never change. A broken chain icon will show to the right of the number so you know that is is no longer linking to your accounting system. (See photo below)
